Formed in 1980 by two sets of brothers in Reno, Nevada, 7 Seconds is an American hardcore punk band regarded as seminal to the genre. The band has experienced numerous lineup changes throughout their history, though Kevin Seconds, Steve Youth, and Bobby Adams have remained constant members. The current roster includes Kevin Seconds on vocals, Steve Youth on bass, Troy Mowat on drums, and Bobby Adams on guitar. They are credited as early innovators in multiple genres and movements within punk.
