Formed in 1995 by frontman John Haughm, Agalloch is an American extreme metal band from Portland, Oregon. Throughout their initial run, the band released an extensive discography that included five full-length albums, four EPs, two singles, one split single, two demos, and four compilation albums, along with one live video album. In May 2016, the band announced their disbandment, bringing their first chapter to a close. However, the group reunited in 2023, marking a return after a seven-year absence from active performance and recording.
