An American singer-songwriter born September 3, 1982, Andrew McMahon is best known for his work across multiple musical projects. He serves as vocalist, pianist, and primary lyricist for the band Something Corporate, while also functioning as the main songwriter for Jack's Mannequin. Beyond these collaborations, he maintains a successful solo career performing under both his own name and the moniker Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. His solo work began with the EP The Pop Underground, released on April 30, 2013, followed by his debut album Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness on October 14, 2014. His subsequent studio albums include Zombies on Broadway, released February 10, 2017, Upside Down Flowers, released November 16, 2018, and Tilt at the Wind No More, released March 31, 2023. In addition to his musical endeavors, McMahon has also authored a memoir titled Three Pianos, published by Princeton Architectural Press on October 26, 2021.
