Anima Inside is the third studio album by British duo the Creatures, featuring Siouxsie Sioux and musician Budgie. Released in 1999, the album takes its title from Carl Jung's psychological concept of anima and animus, exploring the idea of the woman within the man and the man within the woman. Recorded across France and England, the album marked a significant departure from the Creatures' previous work. While maintaining percussive elements that characterized earlier releases, Anima Inside introduced a more urban sound to their musical style. The album was well received by critics upon its release and gained further recognition when peer PJ Harvey selected it as one of her top ten albums of 1999.
