Canadian rock band April Wine was formed in 1969 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and led by singer-guitarist-songwriter Myles Goodwyn until his death in 2023. The group first achieved success with their 1972 album On Record, which spawned hit singles including covers of "Bad Side of the Moon" and "You Could Have Been a Lady." While experiencing only moderate international success, April Wine achieved great popularity in Canada, reaching the Top 40 singles charts with 21 different songs. Notable hits include "Roller," "I Like to Rock," and "Just Between You and Me." The band has released 16 studio albums.
