As Cities Burn is an American post-hardcore band from Mandeville, Louisiana, that formed in 2002. The group released their debut album, Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest, in 2005, followed by Come Now Sleep two years later in 2007. Their third studio album, Hell or High Water, came out in 2009. The band performed actively from 2011 through 2016 until drummer Aaron Lunsford announced their disbandment on August 16, 2016. However, the group reunited in December 2017 and embarked on a tour opening for Emery, while also announcing their commitment to staying together and creating new material.
