Atarashii Gakko!, known in Japan as Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders, meaning "Leaders of the New School," is a Japanese girl group formed in 2015. The group is jointly managed by Asobisystem, Twin Planet, and TV Asahi Music. They made their Japanese debut in June 2017 under Victor Entertainment with the single "Dokubana," followed by their worldwide debut in January 2021 under 88rising with "Nainainai." The group achieved significant milestones in their international career, making their U.S. television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on December 7, 2023, where they performed "Tokyo Calling." Following a successful North America tour in 2024, they participated in the matsuri '25: Japanese Music Experience Los Angeles lineup alongside artists Ado and Yoasobi. On January 9, 2024, Atarashii Gakko! performed their first show at the prestigious Nippon Budokan in an event called "Seishun Shurai," which translates to "Invasion of Youth."
