Born on September 27, 1987, Austin Robert Carlile is an American singer who first gained prominence as the lead vocalist of the metalcore band Attack Attack! He later became known for his work as the former lead vocalist of Of Mice & Men. A high school athlete, Carlile's path was significantly shaped by Marfan syndrome, which required multiple surgeries during his teenage years and ultimately directed him toward pursuing music. In December 2016, he departed from Of Mice & Men due to the progression of his Marfan syndrome and the physical toll that vocal performances were taking on his body. Following his departure from the band, Carlile transitioned to coaching youth baseball in Costa Rica. In 2026, he returned to music as a solo artist, releasing several independent singles.
