Formed in 2013, Band-Maid is a Japanese rock band known for blending hard rock music with distinctive costumes inspired by Japanese maid cafés. The five-member ensemble features singer Saiki Atsumi, guitarist and vocalist Miku Kobato, lead guitarist Kanami Tōno, bassist Misa, and drummer Akane Hirose. Currently signed to Pony Canyon, the band has established itself as a unique presence in the rock music scene. Their most recent studio release, the EP Scooooop, came out in October 2025.
