About
Beyond Threshold released their debut studio album on 12 August 1977 through Chiswick Records, a pub rock and early punk rock label. The album marked one of the first releases for the label and was the band's only release under Chiswick. The recording featured Lemmy Kilmister on bass and vocals, "Fast" Eddie Clarke on lead guitar, and Philthy Animal Taylor on drums. The album's sleeve artwork introduced Snaggletooth, the War-Pig, a fanged face logo created by artist Joe Petagno that would later become iconic for the band. An earlier album titled On Parole had been recorded between 1975 and 1976 for United Artists but was not released until November 1979.
