Black Anvil

Black Anvil is an American black metal band based in New York City. The band formed in 2007 and features Paul Delaney, Gary Bennett, and Raeph Glicken. According to Delaney, the band's name was created by Bennett and draws inspiration from both a Black Sabbath reference and a Judas Priest song. As one of the few bands operating within the New York City black metal scene, Black Anvil has established itself as a notable presence in the local music community.
