Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is an American rock band from San Francisco, California. Originally formed with Peter Hayes on vocals, guitar, and harmonica, Robert Levon Been on vocals, bass, and guitar, and Nick Jago on drums, the group has undergone lineup changes since its inception. Nick Jago departed the band in 2008 and was replaced by Leah Shapiro. Throughout their career, the band has released eight studio albums beginning with their self-titled debut B.R.M.C. in 2001, followed by Take Them On, On Your Own in 2003, Howl in 2005, Baby 81 in 2007, The Effects of 333 in 2008, Beat the Devil's Tattoo in 2010, Specter at the Feast in 2013, and Wrong Creatures in 2018. In addition to their studio recordings, the band has also released several EPs and live albums throughout their career.
