Black Satellite

Hailing from New York City, Black Satellite is an American rock band led by vocalist Larissa Vale and guitarist Kyle Hawken. The group gained attention following the release of their single Valkyrie in April 2017, which led to them being booked as support for Starset's 2017 Vessels tour. Their follow-up single Blind premiered on idobi radio in May 2017, preceding their debut album Endless, released in July 2017. In January 2018, Black Satellite was recognized by Alternative Press as one of their "12 Bands You Need To Know." That same year, the band released two covers of Type O Negative songs as a tribute to the late vocalist Peter Steele. In August 2020, Black Satellite announced their second studio album Aftermath with the single Void, which was mixed by Ben Grosse. The band was scheduled to participate in the Save The World Tour in 2020 alongside Fozzy, Through Fire, and Royal Bliss, and toured with Nita Strauss in 2021.
