This American hardcore punk band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1994 by Erick "Buddha" Medina and "White Trash" Rob Lind. Drawing inspiration from the hardcore scenes of Boston and New York, Blood for Blood developed a sound influenced by bands including Sheer Terror, Breakdown, Carnivore, and Killing Time. The group was signed to Victory Records in 1997 and released music throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. Following the release of their 2004 album, the band entered a hiatus that lasted until 2010. A second hiatus began in 2012 after the dismissal of singer Erick Medina. In December 2025, the band announced their official signing to Roadrunner Records and released their first single in 21 years, titled "You're Gonna Have to Kill Me."
