Formed in Stockholm in 1998, Bloodbath is a Swedish death metal supergroup comprising Martin Axenrot from Opeth, Anders Nyström from Katatonia, and Nick Holmes from Paradise Lost. The band has established itself as a significant force in the death metal scene through an impressive catalog of releases. Their discography includes six full-length albums and two extended plays, demonstrating their prolific output over the years. Beyond their studio work, Bloodbath has documented their live performances, with two DVDs capturing their appearances at major festival stages. The first DVD documents their performance at Wacken Open Air in 2005, one of Europe's largest open-air heavy metal festivals. The second DVD showcases their performance at Bloodstock Open Air in 2010, another prominent metal festival. These live recordings provide fans with recordings of the band's energetic stage presence and musical prowess.
