Formed in 2003 in Palatine, Illinois, Born of Osiris is an American progressive metalcore band that underwent several name changes before settling on their current moniker in 2007, inspired by the Egyptian deity Osiris and the tale of his son Horus. The band currently features drummer Cameron Losch, the sole remaining founding member, alongside lead vocalist Ronnie Canizaro, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Rossi, guitarist Travis Montgomery, and bassist Dan Marinaro. They have performed at notable festivals including the Summer Slaughter Tour and Music as a Weapon Tour 4.
