A sixteen-time Grammy Award nominee, Brandy Clark is an American country music singer-songwriter born on October 9, 1975. Her songwriting talents have earned recognition from major artists including Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, and Kacey Musgraves, all of whom have recorded her compositions. Clark launched her career as a recording artist in 2013 with her debut album 12 Stories and has since released four additional studio albums. Her accolades include a Country Music Association Award for Song of the Year as co-writer of "Follow Your Arrow" and a 2015 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. In 2023, Clark collaborated with Shane McAnally to write the music and lyrics for the musical Shucked, which earned them a Tony Award nomination for Best Original Score.
