Breathe Carolina is an American electronic music duo from Denver that formed in 2007. The group was originally founded by David Schmitt and Kyle Even, and later expanded to include drummer Eric Armenta, keyboardist Joshua Aragon, and DJ Luis Bonet. In 2013, Kyle Even departed from the band while Tommy Cooperman joined that same year. The current lineup consists of David Schmitt and Tommy Cooperman. Throughout their career, Breathe Carolina has released five studio albums: It's Classy, Not Classic in 2008, Hello Fascination in 2009, Hell Is What You Make It in 2011, Savages in 2014, and Dead: The Album in 2019. The duo achieved significant commercial success with their hit single "Blackout," which was certified platinum in the United States.
