Formed in Alabama in 1990, Brother Cane is an American rock band founded by singer and guitarist Damon Johnson and bassist Glenn Maxey. The original lineup was completed by guitarist Roman Glick and drummer Scott Collier. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1993, establishing themselves as part of the 1990s rock landscape. Following some lineup changes, they released their second album Seeds in 1995, and continued their recording career with the album Wishpool in 1998. After disbanding, Brother Cane reunited in 2005 and again in 2011, demonstrating the enduring appeal of their music. The band became active once more from 2022 onward, maintaining their presence in the music industry decades after their initial formation.
