Formed in Los Angeles in 1987, BulletBoys is an American hard rock and glam metal band. The original lineup featured singer Marq Torien, guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent, and drummer Jimmy D'Anda, with all members having prior experience in bands including Ratt, King Kobra, and Kagny & the Dirty Rats. The group achieved commercial success between 1988 and 1991, releasing two albums and earning MTV airplay for several singles. The band's sound was heavily influenced by AC/DC and Van Halen, with Torien drawing vocal comparisons to Van Halen's David Lee Roth. From the 1990s onward, BulletBoys experienced significant lineup changes, though Torien remained as the sole consistent member throughout. The original lineup reunited for one-off performances in 2011 and 2019, demonstrating the enduring appeal of their classic era. Their most recent studio album, From Out of the Skies, was released in 2018.
