Formed in San Diego, California in 1996, Cattle Decapitation is an American deathgrind band that has maintained a evolving roster throughout its existence. The band's current lineup features vocalist Travis Ryan, lead guitarist Josh Elmore, drummer Dave McGraw, rhythm guitarist Belisario Dimuzio, and bassist Diego Soria. Since 2001, the group has undergone significant changes, with none of the founding members remaining active in the band. Despite joining after the band's formation, Travis Ryan and Josh Elmore have proven to be the most enduring members, appearing on all eight of the band's studio albums to date.
