Choir Boy

Choir Boy is a coming-of-age play written by American playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney. The play premiered in September 2012 at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Following its initial production, the play went on to be staged at several prominent venues across the United States, including New York City Center, Alliance Theatre, and Geffen Playhouse, as well as numerous regional theaters throughout the country. The production eventually made its way to Broadway, opening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on January 8, 2019, after beginning preview performances on December 12, 2018.
