Formed in Stockholm in 1989, Clawfinger is a Swedish rap metal band that emerged as a pioneer of the genre. The band achieved international and commercial success with their 1993 debut album, Deaf Dumb Blind, which marked their breakthrough moment. Their musical style is characterized as aggressive, melodic and groovy, featuring lyrics that address politics and social issues including racism and war. Throughout their career, Clawfinger has released seven studio albums and accumulated over 1.5 million album sales worldwide.
