Formed in 1982 in Raleigh, North Carolina, Corrosion of Conformity is an American heavy metal band that evolved from hardcore punk roots to a slower, blues-tinged sound. Led by guitarist Woody Weatherman, the band's classic lineup included bassist Mike Dean, drummer Reed Mullin, and vocalist Pepper Keenan. After signing to Columbia Records in 1993, they achieved mainstream success with albums like Deliverance and Wiseblood. The band has released eleven studio albums to date, with their 2018 album No Cross No Crown marking their first top 100 Billboard 200 entry.
