Cory Gerald Joseph Marquardt, known professionally as Cory Marks, is a Canadian country rock singer-songwriter born on October 11, 1989. Signed to Better Noise Music, he has released four albums throughout his career: This Man in 2015 under Big Star Recordings, followed by Who I Am in 2020, Sorry for Nothing in 2024, and Sorry for Nothing Vol. 2. Marks has achieved significant commercial success, accumulating over 450 million global streams. His debut single "Outlaws & Outsiders" became a major breakthrough, earning Platinum certification in Canada, Gold in the US, and reaching the top 10 at US rock radio while climbing to number 3 in Germany. This achievement made Marks the first Canadian country act to accomplish such success. In 2024, his hit single "(Make My) Country Rock" featuring Travis Tritt, Mick Mars, and Sully Erna of Godsmack earned him his second top 20 single at US rock radio, further cementing his place in the country rock landscape.
