Crown Of Thornz

Formed in New York City in 1994, Crown of Thornz established themselves as one of the most prominent hardcore punk bands in the New York hardcore scene by the time of their initial disbandment in 1998. During their first era, the band released a focused body of work that included one EP titled Train Yard Blues in 1995, followed by their studio album Mentally Vexed in 1996. That same year also saw the release of a split single with Aggressive Dogs in 1998. After a fourteen-year hiatus, Crown of Thornz reunited in 2012 and returned to recording, releasing the two-track single Nothing But Tragedy.
