Crownshift is a metal band featuring Jukka Koskinen, a Finnish musician known for his work across multiple metal projects. Koskinen has built an extensive career as a bassist, performing with several notable bands including Wintersun and Nightwish. His involvement with Crownshift represents one chapter in a diverse musical portfolio that has spanned over two decades. Throughout his career, Koskinen has also contributed to other metal acts such as Norther, where he played from 2000 until the band's disbandment in 2012, as well as Amberian Dawn, Cain's Offering, and Dark Sarah. In recent years, Koskinen's profile rose significantly when he was revealed as Nightwish's session bass player for the band's virtual performances and their Human. :II: Nature. World Tour in 2021 and 2022, before officially joining Nightwish as their permanent bass player in August 2022. His continued involvement with Crownshift demonstrates his commitment to the metal music scene across multiple projects.
