Dödsrit

Dödsrit is a musical project founded by Christoffer Öster, guitarist of the former Swedish hardcore punk band Totem Skin. Totem Skin was formed in 2012 in Dalarna and featured vocalists Henrik Dahlqvist and Glenn Zettersten alongside Öster. During their active years, the band released two studio albums: Still Waters Run Deep in 2013 and Weltschmerz in 2015, both showcasing a distinctive blend of raw ferocity combined with dark atmospheres. The band disbanded in January 2017. Rather than shelving their work entirely, Öster transformed what was intended to be Totem Skin's third album into the self-titled debut release for his new project Dödsrit, allowing the music to reach audiences in this new form.
