About
iDKHOW is an American indie pop solo project based in Salt Lake City, Utah, fronted by singer-songwriter Dallon Weekes. Originally formed as a duo in 2016, the project initially consisted of Weekes and drummer Ryan Seaman, who was a former member of Weekes' previous band The Brobecks. Seaman was fired from the project in 2023. The band was formed in secrecy, with Weekes and Seaman initially denying its existence before eventually promoting their debut EP 1981 Extended Play, released in 2018. Rock Sound magazine featured the duo on their March 2018 cover, describing them as "the hottest unsigned band in the world." Following this recognition, the project signed with Fearless Records. iDKHOW released their debut studio album Razzmatazz in 2020, establishing themselves as a notable act in the indie pop scene. Their second album, Gloom Division, was released four years later, continuing their presence in the music industry.
