Dead Animal Assembly Plant

About

Based in Portland, Oregon, Dead Animal Assembly Plant is a collaborative project featuring musicians from multiple bands including Bound In Oblivion, NVEiN, Particle Son, and individual musician Travis Geny. The group draws inspiration from a fictional nineteenth-century horror narrative centered on Wilhelm Schröder, a bankrupt German butcher. Known for their distinctive visual presentation, the members perform in butcher clothing with blood-like face paint and prosthetic torso coverings. Their sound combines industrial and experimental music influences, drawing comparisons to artists such as Skinny Puppy and OhGr. To date, Dead Animal Assembly Plant has released two albums: Strip Off Your Niblets And Giblets EP in 2010 and All My Heroes Are Dead in 2012.
