Draconian

About

Founded in Säffle, Sweden in 1994, Draconian is a gothic metal band with a rich history spanning nearly three decades. The group was established by Anders Jacobsson and Johan Ericson, who remain as founding members and continue to be active in the band today. Throughout its existence, Draconian has experienced various lineup changes, though the band achieved greater stability beginning with the release of their debut album, Where Lovers Mourn, in 2003. Since that milestone, the core membership has remained relatively consistent, featuring drummer Jerry Torstensson alongside vocalists Lisa Johansson and Heike Langhans, who alternate performing the band's clean vocal parts. Over the course of their career, Draconian has built an impressive discography consisting of eight studio albums complemented by numerous singles and music videos, establishing themselves as a significant presence in the gothic metal genre.
