Formed in Castrop-Rauxel in 2010, Electric Callboy is a German electronicore band that has evolved significantly throughout their career. Originally performing under the name Eskimo Callboy, the group was initially recognized for their serious lyrics and post-hardcore sound. During the early 2020s, the band underwent both a line-up change and a name change that marked a turning point in their artistic direction. Following these changes, they have achieved mainstream attention, becoming known for their comedic songs, energetic live shows, and creative music videos. In addition to their primary work as Electric Callboy, the band members occasionally perform DJ sets under the alternative name Electric Bassboy.
