Born on October 29, 1974, Eric Gales is an American blues rock guitarist who gained recognition as a child prodigy. Also known by the stage name Raw Dawg, he has established himself as a prolific recording artist. As of 2022, Gales has recorded 19 albums for major record labels throughout his career. Beyond his solo work, he has contributed to various musical projects, including session and tribute work across multiple genres. Gales has also lent his vocals to several records by Memphis rap groups, performing under the names Lil E and Mack E on releases by Prophet Posse and Three 6 Mafia.
