Born May 15, 1987, Eric James Marshall Slick is an American singer, songwriter and drummer. He is best known as the drummer of the band Dr. Dog, where he has performed on numerous studio albums including Shame, Shame, Be The Void, B-Room, The Psychedelic Swamp, Abandoned Mansion, and Critical Equation. Beyond his work with the group, Slick released his debut solo album titled Palisades on April 21, 2017. The album received positive critical reception from notable music publications and platforms, with reviewers at Consequence of Sound, Relix, and Tidal praising the work. Greg Saunier of the band Deerhoof gave the album particularly high marks, rating it 10 out of 10 stars.
