Eskimo Joe

Formed in 1997 in East Fremantle, Western Australia, Eskimo Joe is an Australian alternative rock band consisting of Stuart MacLeod on lead guitar, Joel Quartermain on drums and guitar, and Kavyen Temperley on bass guitar and vocals. The band released their debut album Girl in 2001, followed by A Song Is a City in 2004 and Black Fingernails, Red Wine in 2006. Their subsequent releases include Inshalla, which came out in May 2009, Ghosts of the Past in August 2011, and Wastelands in September 2013. Eskimo Joe has achieved significant critical recognition, winning eight ARIA Music Awards throughout their career. The band's most successful period came in 2006 when they won four ARIA awards from nine nominations for work associated with Black Fingernails, Red Wine.
