Joel Thomas Wanasek is an American record producer and owner of JTW Recording in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began his recording career in 2002 as a self-taught producer and achieved enough success to leave his job and work full-time in the recording industry by January 2006. Throughout his career, Wanasek has primarily focused on working with rock and metal bands, collaborating with notable acts including Blessthefall, Machine Head, Attila, Miss May I, and Monuments, among others.
