Born on August 25, 1971, Fernanda Barbosa Takai is a Brazilian singer best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Pato Fu. Beyond her work with the band, she has pursued a solo career beginning in 2007. In 2011, Takai collaborated with Atom™, Toshiyuki Yasuda, and Moreno Veloso on the track "Águas de Março," which was featured on Red Hot + Rio 2, a charitable album produced by the Red Hot Organization. This album served as a follow-up to the 1996 release Red Hot + Rio, with proceeds from sales dedicated to raising awareness and funding efforts to combat AIDS/HIV and related health and social issues.
