About
Flat Out is a term with multiple meanings across different fields and industries. In music, it refers to albums by notable artists including Buck Dharma's 1982 release and John Scofield's 1989 album of the same name. Beyond music, Flat Out is associated with various other contexts. It is a brand of flatbreads owned by the T. Marzetti Company. The term also has historical significance, having been coined by Maddog Stratford in 1927 during a fishing charter in Corner Inlet, Victoria, to describe the speed at which a Rock Flathead moves through water. Additionally, FlatOut is known as a demolition derby and racing video game series developed by Bugbear Entertainment, which includes multiple titles released over the years: FlatOut in 2004, FlatOut 2 in 2006, FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction in 2011, and FlatOut 4: Total Insanity in 2017. The name has also been used for a racehorse named Flat Out, demonstrating its widespread use across diverse domains.
