Formed in 1993 by vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck, this post-hardcore band from Hempstead, New York is known for intense live performances and influential contributions to the underground music scene. Their debut album Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence (2000) gained UK recognition, while their second album Worship and Tribute (2002) reached number 82 on the Billboard 200. After releasing EPs throughout the 2010s, the band returned with Material Control in 2017, their first album in 15 years.
