About

Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, Good Riddance is an American punk rock band that has built a notable career spanning multiple decades. Led by vocalist Russ Rankin, the band's longtime lineup features guitarist Luke Pabich, bassist Chuck Platt, and drummer Sean "SC" Sellers. Their musical style blends fast-paced punk with catchy melodies, drawing influence from the hardcore punk scene. The band initially released seven full-length studio albums on Fat Wreck Chords before disbanding after a live farewell concert recording in 2007. However, they reformed in 2012 and continued their creative output with the album Peace in Our Time in 2015, followed by their ninth studio album, Thoughts and Prayers, released on July 19, 2019. Good Riddance's lyrical themes encompass a wide range of subjects, including political protests, critical examinations of American society, personal struggles, and feelings of alienation.
