Green Jellÿ is an American comedy rock band formed in 1981. Originally called Green Jellö, the band was forced to change its name due to legal pressure from Kraft Foods Inc., who owned the Jell-O trademark. The group is recognized for its sophomoric humor, theatrical performances, and intentionally crude musicianship. Throughout its existence, the band has featured hundreds of members, with vocalist Bill Manspeaker serving as the only consistent member from the beginning. Notable musicians who passed through Green Jellÿ during the early 1990s include Danny Carey and Maynard James Keenan, both of whom later founded the band Tool. Green Jellÿ has released five studio albums: Triple Live Möther Gööse at Budokan in 1989, Cereal Killer Soundtrack in 1993, 333 in 1994, Musick to Insult Your Intelligence By in 2009, and Garbage Band Kids in 2021. The band achieved their greatest commercial success with their 1992 hit "Three Little Pigs," which was adapted from the classic fairy tale.
