Gutalax

Gutalax is a Czech goregrind band formed in 2009 by members Průduch, Pouřík, Kebab and Maty. The band's name derives from the laxative Guttalax. By September 2009, they had recorded seven tracks for their debut release, which was issued as a split album with Italian band Cannibe. Their first studio album, Shit Beast, was recorded in January 2011 and released on the Czech label Bizarre Leprous Production. The band's second album, Shit Happens, was recorded in early 2014 and released in 2015 on the German label Rotten Roll Rex. In 2021, they released their third album, The Shitpendables, also via Rotten Roll Rex. Gutalax describes their musical style as "gore 'n' roll," which blends goregrind and pornogrind with elements of humor, and their songs typically explore themes of feces and sex.
