Founded in Münster in 1991, H-Blockx is a German rock band that emerged from the early 1990s music scene. The group achieved significant recognition following the release of their debut album, Time to Move, in 1994, which led to a nomination for Best Breakthrough Artist at the 1995 MTV Europe Music Awards. Their growing prominence in the music industry caught the attention of major entertainment organizations, including the World Wrestling Federation, which enlisted the band to record "Oh Hell Yeah" for wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin in 1999. The band's influence extended into video games, with their track "Countdown to Insanity" featured in the European version of the 2007 music video game Rock Band. Throughout their active period from 1994 to 2012, H-Blockx released a total of seven studio albums, establishing themselves as a notable presence in rock music during this era.
