HAARPER is an American hip-hop duo from New Orleans, Louisiana, founded in 2013 by cousins Scott "Scrim" Arceneaux Jr. and Aristos "Ruby da Cherry" Petrou. The pair initially gained recognition on SoundCloud for their self-produced beats and distinctive musical style. They are considered one of the most popular acts in the underground rap scene and operate their own label, G*59 Records, which distributes all of their music through The Orchard. After releasing several EPs and mixtapes, their debut studio album I Want to Die in New Orleans arrived on September 7, 2018, and achieved significant commercial success by becoming their first top-ten album on the US Billboard 200. In May 2019, they released a collaborative six-track EP with notable musicians including Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Korn guitarist James Shaffer, titled Live Fast, Die Whenever.
