Haborym is a name derived from the goetic grimoire Ars Goetia, a historical text that catalogs demons and their hierarchical rankings. The Ars Goetia differs in terms of number and ranking from the earlier Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer. Due to multiple translations over time, various spellings exist for many of the names found in these grimoires. Within the Ars Goetia's hierarchical system, each ranking associates with specific astrological bodies, including kings corresponding to the Sun, marquises to the Moon, presidents to Mercury, dukes to Venus, earls to Mars, princes to Jupiter, and a sole knight to Saturn. Notably, one demon called Pruflas appears in the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum but is absent from the Ars Goetia. According to theological tradition, the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash are understood to represent opposite and balancing forces against these fallen angels and their associated entities.
