Sierra Elizabeth Ferrell is an American singer-songwriter and musician from West Virginia. Her music incorporates elements of folk, bluegrass, and gypsy jazz, alongside styles such as tango and calypso music. Ferrell began her recording career by self-releasing Pretty Magic Spell in 2018, followed by Washington by the Sea in 2019. In 2021, she released Long Time Coming with Rounder Records, an album that received critical acclaim. During the months leading up to its release, Ferrell shared accompanying music videos for several singles, including "The Sea," "In Dreams," and "Bells of Every Chapel," which featured Billy Strings. She continued her partnership with Rounder Records for her fourth album, Trail of Flowers, released in March 2024. This album earned her four Grammy Awards.
