About
This legendary group originated as a celebrity drinking club established by Alice Cooper during the 1970s. The club was known for its exclusive membership process, which required prospective members to outdrink all existing members as an initiation ritual. According to Cooper's account in the documentary Prime Cuts, the club operated from select locations including The Speakeasy and Tramps in London, as well as a small loft space housed at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood, California, which was reserved exclusively for club members. The group became an iconic part of rock and roll culture during that era.
