An American punk rock band formed in October 1994, Hot Water Music is based in Gainesville, Florida. The group was originally built around Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard, who share lead vocals and guitar duties, alongside bassist Jason Black and drummer George Rebelo. Since 2017, guitarist-vocalist Chris Cresswell has also been part of the lineup. The band experienced an early split in August 1998, though they reunited just two months later in October 1998. Following another breakup in 2006, Hot Water Music has maintained an active presence in the music scene since 2008.
