French musician Gautier Serre, known professionally as Igorrr, was born on June 5, 1984. He is recognized for creating a distinctive sound that blends an eclectic mix of genres including black metal, baroque music, breakcore, and trip hop. Beyond his main project, Serre has been involved in side-projects Whourkr and Corpo-Mente, though these are no longer active. What began as a solo endeavor evolved into a full band with the addition of multiple musicians. The ensemble has included vocalists Laure Le Prunenec and Laurent Lunoir, drummer Sylvain Bouvier, guitarist Martyn Clément, and bassist Erlend Caspersen. In 2021, the original vocalists departed and were replaced by JB Le Bail and Aphrodite Patoulidou, who were subsequently replaced by Marthe Alexandre. The drumming position saw a change in 2024 when Rémi Serafino joined the group.
