Incendiary is a hardcore punk band from Long Island, New York. The band takes its name from the term "incendiary," which means capable of causing fire. While the word has various applications across different contexts, from describing devices designed to cause fires to ammunition designed to set fire to targets, the band chose this powerful and evocative name for their musical project. The term has also been used as a title in other media, including a novel by Chris Cleave, a 2008 film adaptation based on that novel, and a 2011 documentary film about the Cameron Todd Willingham arson murder case. As a Long Island-based hardcore punk band, Incendiary brings an energetic and intense sound to the music streaming platform.
